Letting students have a choice in their learning is always a boon. So long as it is meeting the standards, I believe that it doesn't matter how a student shows me they have learned so long as they have actually learned. To make learning and projects more relevant to my students I created this choice board.
This is one choice board primarily based on Gardner's multiple intelligences. There are 8 different activities based based on Gardner's and I included one for technology, making for a total of 9 different activities that the students can choose from.
I am going to be using this as a project quiz grade that will be due at the end of the grading period, but if you wanted to break it up into stations that is also an option you have. I also included some rubrics that you can use to grade the projects by. **Unless otherwise stated all rubrics used across menu and choice boards are the same**
It includes projects for the high points of a 6 week curriculum that include lab safety, force, motion, and work, biology (plant cell & animal cell) and taxonomy (classification). Also includes rubrics for the different activities.
