This activity is appropriate for lab or class. It makes students use higher-order thinking and inference to uncover a medical dilemma, and then has them share their opinions on the correct course of action. For these reasons, your advanced students will love it. However, the Flesch-Kinkaid reading level is only 4.1, so it is appropriate even for struggling students. Additionally, the activity reinforces the concepts of blood-typing, which is required knowledge for any basic living environment or biology class.
I have included a key, and a list of necessary supplies and tips. My students loved this activity, and I hope that yours enjoy it as well.
