Description

FREE complete lab investigation and model of my work! This experiment titled "Separating a Mixture" offers the student the opportunity to chemically separate the zinc from copper within a penny. This lab is appropriate for any chemistry or physical science class and may even be used with middle school science students. Completing the investigation will require portions of two class periods. Time may be allotted on the second day for students to complete calculations and to hold a class debriefing.
