Label a Sumerian Chariot Diagram - Standard of Ur, Mesopotamia
Students cut and paste or write words in boxes to label a Sumerian chariot diagram. Graphics for these diagrams where created by the author and inspired by the Standard of Ur. Educators choose from versions that include graphics with or without the wounded enemy solider and the terms "onagers" or "donkeys" for labeling the animals pulling the chariot. Labels include the following vocabulary words: helmet, chariot, reins, soldier, onagers or donkeys, wheel, rein ring, charioteer, cloak, and spears.
