This is a powerpoint that asks students to create certain geometry terms and definitions by arranging pieces from their envelope.
See picture for idea.
We will use a sheet of construction paper for a plane. The arrows are cut up and bent pipe cleaners that we will use to form a line. I bought fuzzy balls to use as points and to create line segments or rays. We gave letters (written on small pieces of paper) so that we could label.
This has been one of my favorite ways to have students practice labeling and naming in a hands on way.
Includes terms like collinear, coplanar, parallel, perpendicular, lines, segments, rays, and points. When you advance the slide, it displays a possible answer.
