Use these labels to help organize all those papers in your classroom! I print these labels on bright colored paper then laminate them so they last all year. I hang them off baskets that sit near my students' mailboxes.
I like to separate the "turn in" items into two piles: one pile for homework, class work, etc. and one pile for anything with a little "extra importance" such as notes from family, any money collections, etc. We all know how quickly paper piles up -- I hate when I lose important items because they were drowning between so many homework sheets! Having two locations for students to turn items in really helps with that. One just says "turn in" and I teach my students to put their work there. The other says "From Family" and I teach my students that this is the bin for anything that came from home (notes, money, etc.)
