"Why do we celebrate Labor Day? What is Labor Day all about?" These were the two most popular questions students asked in my class about this federal holiday.
This history set was designed to help students answer those questions and more PLUS practice reading closely and determining vocabulary in context.
I also created this resource to give students an opportunity to embark on their own research about Labor Day to compare what they find with the non-fiction reading comprehension pages included.
This Common Core aligned resource is good for 4th-6th grade students.
Your students will really enjoy learning more about Labor Day with this history set, and you will enjoy how easy it is to use this resource!
