Product Description
This activity is appropriate for lab or class. It makes students use higher-order thinking and consider the consequences of organic chemistry concepts in the real world, so your advanced students will love it. However, the Flesch-Kinkaid reading level is only 6.0, so it is appropriate even for struggling students. The activity requires students to apply their knowledge of proteins, enzymes, denaturation, and hydrolysis, so it is in line with the New York State living environment curriculum.

I have included a key, and a list of necessary supplies and tips. My students loved this activity, and I hope that yours enjoy it as well.
