How many times have your students started a sentence with “Her is sleeping” or “Him is here.”? This packet of personal pronouns is designed to help your young learners to correctly produce the personal pronouns for “he” “she” and “they”. I hope that your students enjoy these activities while learning to improve their communication skills.
Included in this packet are three activities, skill/objective with answer key and worksheet.
Activity #1: Golden Coins
This game consists of 36 coins illustrated with objects to be given to the lads and lassies as shown on the pronoun mats. Laminate the large pot of gold picture and make a slit along the top. Place the coin cards along the edge of the slit. A student selects a card and follows the directions as shown on the coin. Use the text words “he” “she” and “they” and place them on the appropriate pronoun mat with the coins.
Activity #2: On a Roll
For this game you will need to wrap a square tissue box with paper and place the six picture squares on each side. This acts as the die for the game. Follow the directions as shown on the card. You can store the cards inside a legal envelope and place the card for game directions on the front.
Activity #3: Lads and Lassies
Laminate and cut the coins as shown on the Answer Key page. Place on the pot of gold in the middle of the game board. Follow the directions as shown.
