This is a fun game designed to help kids build a better understand that an equal sign means both sides are equal, not that the answer is coming. The object of the game is to match the wings to the correct ladybug. Each ladybug's body has a number. Each wing has a number sentence (equation). These equations range from adding or subtracting 2 numbers to adding and subtracting 3 numbers. Students will solve the number sentences and match them to the correct ladybug. At the end of the game, the students will see all of the matches and develop and understanding that an equal sign means that both sides are equal.
