Students will use the dots on a ladybug to create their own number bonds and fact families.
They can toss the dots provided (or bingo chips) onto the Ladybug Math Mat to find the addends that make up the target number. Ex. The target number is 10. Toss 10 dots onto the mat. If 6 dots land on the ladybug's left wing and 4 dots land on the ladybug's right wing, then the addends are 6 and 4 and the number bond and fact family use 6, 4, and 10.
There are worksheets included to fill out the number bonds and fact families for the target numbers 3-10. There is also a blank worksheet to create your own. Also included: the Ladybug Math Mat and a page of dots.
