This activity is based on Roald Dahl's "Lamb to the Slaughter" and features a total of four stations: Editing, R.A.C.E. Strategy, Explaining the R.A.C.E. Strategy, and Citing Evidence. This activity works especially well for students who learn better in a group setting, but struggle with constructed responses. My students sincerely enjoyed each station, and I saw lots of "light bulbs" go off . . . especially in the editing station! We completed two stations per day (on average) for three days. You will receive:
1. Four (4) Stations Instructions Posters (Hang these on the wall in front of each station.)
2. Constructed Response Samples (These are actual writing samples from students)
3. Editing Answer Sheet
4. Explaining the R.A.C.E. Strategy Graphic Organizer
5. Citing Evidence Graphic Organizer
Hope you enjoy!
