Lamb to the Slaughter by: Roald Dahl
Who doesn't love a good murder mystery? I know my students do!
I love any day that I can set up centers and allow my students to work independently. (Yes! Centers are for big kids, too!)
I use this 2-3 day activity to introduce points-of-view as well as Roald Dahl's short story, "Lamb to the Slaughter."
Included are the following:
*A 23-page guide to setting up each of the 8 stations. (Letters, diary entries, etc.
are included as well.
*A 12-page set of student recording sheets that can be used in print or digital form
(color and black and white covers included)
*26 QR Codes that link to clues to help students solve the mystery
*My Loaded Words Game (a 16-page PowerPoint game that introduces
students to loaded words and their purpose)
These centers engage students in activities that cover the following:
*grammar (editing/revising/sentence structure, etc.)
*loaded words and phrases
