Choices on board:
-Vocabulary Concentration Game : Using the vocab list from this packet, create 10 vocabulary word cards with separate definition cards (20 total). With a partner, play concentration/ memory.
-Pack your bags: You won a camping trip to 2 biomes of your choice! Design a packing list of at least 10 items that would help you survive your trip.
-Save Our Biomes: Choose a biome and research how humans have negatively affected the natural balance. Use this knowledge to write a letter to the president about why and how we should save that biome.
-Graph Attack: Complete graphs using provided data to better understand the climate trends of our world biomes.
-Postcard Project:Create 2 postcards to send to a family member/ friend/ teacher from 2 of the biomes you have “visited” so far.
-“Going on a Trip” Biome Rap: Write a parody rap about one biome using the Little Einstein song, “We’re going on a trip”. Begin your lyrics after the line “We’re going on a trip…”
- Create a Critter: Choose a biome and then design a new animal that is perfectly adapted to live in that biome.
-Regional Biome Picture Book: Research, write and illustrate a picture book for young readers depicting a biome located in your region.
-Biome Trading Cards Create a “trading card” for 3 biomes.
