Land Sea Air is a simple game that is engaging and students (and adults) will play for hours. Unlike many math "games" that are really activities, Land Sea Air makes players think about probability, strategy, and variance when playing. Being lucky helps too, creating suspense as any good game should.
Knowledge of facts is well rewarded and constantly practiced. Players have to consider multiple possibilities whenever they roll. Students decide whether to keep rolls in their territory or to shoot them into their opponents territory as they try to claim two of the three regions, Land, Sea, and Air.
You will need some dice and copies of the player sheets to play. A detailed rules description with a step-by-step example of game play is provided. Black and white sheets for copying or color sheets for laminating are provided.
