Landform vocabulary to be practiced includes:
Landform, desert, mountain, island, bay, hills, canyon, cape, lake, flatlands, mesa, peninsula, valley, wetlands, coastline, and river
1. This game can be played like any bingo game.
2. Play reverse bingo. The students cover all of definitions on their card with correct landform card. When a landform is called, students can remove one answer card. A partner, teammate, or the teacher could watch to be sure a correct definition is beneath. A bingo is called when a row of cards has been removed.
3. Alternatively, print a set of student answer cards for each child. Each student organizes the answer cards above the board to be ready to cover a definition with the correct landform. As students choose facts to cover, they can be held accountable for their answer choices. When a bingo is called, the child should read back the landforms and the definitions.
