I created this activity to address my need for another mode for students to learn the major land forms in the United States. I included those that I felt as if students had a more difficult time identifying.
How to use this product:
Students will create their own landforms with modeling clay or dough using the definitions given on their task cards.
This requires critical-thinking skills, focused attention to the description and following directions. I consider it a higher-order thinking activity and it caters to visual and kinesthetic learners.
Students might enjoy judging the best in class for an outside display.
