Earth and Life Science Project Bundle

This resource includes a landforms anchor chart. The landforms listed are shown below. However, you can complete this project with any landforms based on your state standards.

This resource includes:
♥ lesson plans
♥ landform anchor chart- includes mountains, hills, plateaus, valleys, canyons, and plains
♥ planning and project pages
♥ differentiated project choices
♥ grading rubrics
♥ example of completed project

You can finish this activity in one to three class periods, depending on the time you have available. I have included a suggested lesson plan sequence for two days. Each student begins with a planning page. Completing the planning page will help students focus on the features and attributes of specific landforms and allow you to assess understanding before beginning the final project.

The final project choices are differentiated. The first option has room for the completed landform drawing and paragraph all on one page. For the second option, students draw an illustration of the perfect camping spot on a full-size sheet of paper. The paragraph can be written on notebook paper or typed on the computer. This allows for more room depending on the amount of information you want students to include. Option three allows students to use an interactive whiteboard app to label and explain the different landforms . You can choose whether to have students write a paragraph in addition to using the app. This project choice would work well for students who have difficulty with writing but could explain their project. Grading rubrics are included for all three choices.

Please check the preview to see everything that is included!
