Description

This is a 19 slide, highly animated, power point presentations on Landmark Supreme Court Cases - Miranda v. Arizona. This is a case of "Due Process" that eventually created the "Miranda Rights" for all US Citizens. Each of the presentation slides are editable so you can change it to fit your individual needs.

The presentation provides an overview of who Ernesto Miranda was, the events of his arrest, and the events regarding his incarceration and confession of the crime. It also reviews the lower Court's ruling of the case, the issue with the 5th Amendment, the Supreme Court's rulings on the case and the creation of the "Miranda Warning", now used by all Law Enforcement officers in the United States. There is a one page quiz at the end for students to decide if the Court got it right.
