These language arts activities are designed to be used with the Adapted Script of Shakespeare's Macbeth by K. McCreary. Included for each act are selected quotes, lessons on figurative language and literary terms, true/false exercises, comprehension activities (called Quizzes) that engage both lower and upper level thinking skills, graphic organizers, and writing projects. Students write letters, journal entries, and a character sketch. They create a recruitment poster for the final battle of the play. A mapping activity helps place the drama in its geographical context.
A complete set of answers is provided in this 78 page unit. These materials have been used successfully in upper elementary through tenth grade.
