This English Language Arts Game can suit more than one purposes. I came up with it to teach new vocabulary to my elementary and middle-school students. It can be used for vocabulary revision, parts of speech, synonyms/antonyms and much more. The successful application will all depend on the activities you have AFTER the decoding is done. For example, activities may include: sorting into groups using certain criteria, alphabetical order, matching exercise, proper use in a sentence and just about anything that comes to mind.
If you decide to use this game with your classes, I would appreciate it, if you let me know about your outcomes! I had an overwhelming interest and response from my students.
