This six page resource includes:
--A printable 2-page glossary of language arts terms AND definitions.
--The same 2-page printable with blanks to fill-in parts of the definition, if you prefer students to interact with the glossary throughout the school year
--The same fill-In 2-page glossary with blanks for examples that students can add as they learn throughout the year. Examples of each glossary term are not included. Students are expected to think of their own examples.
(The pictures that accompany this product show the 1) top of the worksheet, 2) the top of the worksheet with fill-in blanks and 3) the top of the worksheet with fill-in blanks AND blanks for examples.)
All 2-page printables have the same 68 terms. You will likely only choose to use one 2-page handout/worksheet.
This resource makes it easy for my students to refer to terms that they are learning throughout the year. It is a handy resource for parents at Open House, too.
I recommend giving the glossary at the beginning of the year. Have students punch holes in this printable and keep in their note book. Remind them that these are words they will see on standardized tests throughout their years in school.
