ALL THE WORK IS DONE FOR YOU in this INTEGRATED ART lesson plan!
Even if you don’t have any artistic ability, you can have fun teaching art using my easy step-by-step photos and written directions! Teaching art will help your students build CONFIDENCE and SKILLS in all areas of learning!
This integrated lesson plan connects to your curriculum with a read-aloud fiction story, Once There Was a Tree by Natalia Romanova. Follow up with two different Language Arts activities - an Acrostic Poem handout using the letters in FALL IS FUN and a Diamante writing template with instructions. Then, tie it all together when students graph their favorite season using the four season’s clip art that is provided.
Choose books for read-alouds, picked especially for this lesson, from the fiction/non-fiction list - with brief synopsis of each book. I’ve also included art vocabulary definitions and a supply list in addition to photos showing how to set up your instructional board and finish the art project for display.
Please take a moment to leave your feedback. It's helpful and very appreciated. Thank you!
