ALL THE WORK IS DONE FOR YOU in this INTEGRATED ART lesson plan!
You can have FUN teaching art! Just use my easy step-by-step pictures and written directions that take out all of the guess work. Teaching art helps your students build CONFIDENCE and SKILLS in all areas of learning!
This integrated lesson plan connects to your curriculum with a read-aloud fiction story, Leaves! Leaves! Leaves! by Nancy Wallace to introduce the lesson. You can also choose other read-aloud stories from a list of fiction and non-fiction books, including brief synopsis, picked especially for this lesson.
Tie everything together with three Language Arts writing activities - an Acrostic Poem handout using the letters in SILHOUETTE, a Leaves and Your Five Senses List and a fun Word Unscramble.
I’ve also included art vocabulary definitions and a supply list in addition to photos showing how to set up your instructional board and finish the art project for display.
Please take a moment to leave your feedback. I really appreciate hearing what you think. Thank you!
