Looking for a simple resource that targets beginning language associations with picture support? This activity is perfect for students with developing vocabulary and language processing disorganization.
Making Associations is an essential skill in order to process language correctly. This lesson introduces basic associations using pictures. Your students simply need to circle the pictures that are "associated" or "belong with" the target word in the center. There is only a field of 6 photos, to make it easiest on young students. There are 25 target concepts/nouns that are typical for young pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and early elementary age students.
This lesson was designed to be displayed digitally, in a NO PRINT and NO PREP platform. Perfect for your iPad, Chromebook, SMART Board or teletherapy platform. Simply use your annotate features to circle pictures, or use window or dry erase markers right on your digital screen!
