Homophones- those fun little words that sound the same but can mean so many different things! This can be a frustrating concept to understand for language impaired and autistic students, so why not promote such language in a way and exciting way!
Language Gone Wild: Homophones is an uno-like language game targeting a student's ability to identify several different meanings for words that sound the same (homophones). Two sets are included: 1) a starter version in which a picture and the target stimuli is presented and the student has to come up with a second (and potentially third) definition, and 2) a word-only version for students who are more advanced and don't require visual cues.
Directions for Language Gone Wild are included. Simply print, cut out, laminate, and play! Great for group therapy involving two or more students of any age! This is also a great game for parents to utilize in the upcoming summer months to encourage their kiddos to continue to develop language skills. Then, they can simply keep the game to play for years to come! I hope you enjoy it!
