Students will have the challenge of creating their own business complete with an advertising poster, commercial, description of their business, description of their ideal employee, oral presentation promoting their business and a 3D model of their store.
Students will also be expected to measure the 3D model and calculate the perimeter, area and volume of their 3D model.
Best of all, they will be meeting many expectations for math and language at the same time!
Assessment checklists and rubrics have all been included.
When the projects have been completed the rest of the school can be invited to learn about all the newly created businesses at a Shopping Mall Showcase.
Photos of ten 3D models have been included.
I have provided two versions of this unit, one that sudents can write on and one that just provides the outline for students who will be writing in a notebook or on a computer.
The first set of notes is better to use if your students will be typing their work on a computer or using a notebook pages 5-15.
The second set of notes should be used if your students will be working directly from the package and need space for planning and writing pages 17-37.
