The focus of this game is both vocabulary and grammar. In groups, students are required to pick up a challenge card that requires them to complete a language task (such as nominate a word with so many syllables or identify a noun etc) The actual tasks can be added to by the teacher depending what the focus of study is in the classroom. If a challenge is not completed the student must pick up a penalty card which requires them to complete a nonsense task. Pass cards and transfer cards are also included to create a little interest. Ultimately, students are involved in the process of language and are active learners. Knowledge and learning are enhanced through active participation and play.
