This is a Google Form for practicing the SYNONYMS language skill. These synonyms are for LOWER ELEMENTARY GRADES. You can use it in your own speech therapy or classroom, or you can email it to parents for home practice. Once a student/client completes the form, you can see how they did and get email notifications.
What sets this apart from other speech therapy homework?!? GIFs! That's right: This form has short repeating videos - much more interesting than a boring piece of paper! Whether you’re testing or teaching, this form will engage your students much more than traditional materials!
Updated! ---> When you download this product, you will receive a PDF with a link to make a copy of this form onto your own Google Drive. The PDF has 3 versions of the same Google Form: one to target receptive language, one to target expressive language, and one for data collection. All three have the same words and gifs, but the difference is in the answer options.
The receptive form has four answer choices for the user to select from. The answer options will shuffle and the “correct” answer option is the, well, correct answer. The expressive language form has short answer questions in which the user types in their answer. These two forms are ideal for sending to parents for home practice, and can also be used in therapy!
The data collection form has four answer choices: Independent, Minimal cues, Moderate cues, and Maximum cues. The answer options will not shuffle and the “correct” answer is “Independent” so that when you view the results the X/10 number is the number of items answered independently. This form is ideal for using in therapy!
Note: You will need a Google account to use this product (but they are free to create!)
This Google Form includes 10 items in an aesthetically pleasing and engaging format:
