What educators are saying
Very well thought out, easy to understand presentation. My unnecessary referrals have significantly decreased after this PD presentation to my teachers!
Description
Need a topic for a teacher in-service day? Or perhaps a handout for teachers and/or parents on language processing disorder? Then this is what you are looking for!
This powerpoint presentation is designed for use by a speech-language pathologist, and provides an overview of language processing disorders. It covers what speech-language therapy is, the definition of language processing, examples of the language processing hierarchy, warning signs of language processing disorders, common accommodations for students with the disorder, and what to do if someone suspects a student has a language processing disorder.
There are a total of 27 slides, and it takes about 10 minutes to present aloud. As it is a PPT file, you can quickly edit it to customize it to your school and audience!
