Language Task Cards to use throughout your year! This packet has over 180 cards that cover over 40 language skills.
What teacher doesn't love task cards! They’re so versatile. The task cards in this packet are a little different from other task card sets you may have. There are five sentences on each card, where other task cards usually have only one question per card.
Take a look at the preview to see how this type of task card will work in centers, small groups, for daily practice or tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
The cards are organized by language skill. For each skill there are 4 cards. Three of the cards have 5 sentences for the students to write and then fill in a blank or circle words, depending of the skill. The 4th card asks the students to write 5 sentences of their own and include words with the target skill.
With 184 cards covering over 40 different language skills this is probably more cards than you can use in one year. I suggest that you use only the cards that correspond to your language lessons. These cards are not intended to “teach” the skill, only to practice or review what has already been covered in your lessons.
