Product Description
This product has language skill lessons using paper figurines/characters. This product includes several (6 – 3 boys and 3 girls) paper figurines of various characters that interest children (scientist, cowboy, basketball player, mail carrier, artist, and police officer). Along with each character and accessories, there are ideas for lessons to teach spatial concepts, antonyms (opposites), pronouns and auxiliary verbs, and describing/adjectives. I recommend printing the figurines and accessories on cardstock and laminating for durability. In addition to lesson plan ideas with worksheets for students, the packet also includes a chart with “I can” statements and Common Core Standard connections and an individualized “I can” statement student check-off sheet that children can mark when they complete lessons or goals. This packet includes:

Page 4: Common Core Standards and “I can” statements chart for reference
Page 5: Individual Student Stamp Card or Check-off Sheet for meeting goals
Pages 6-14: Characters with accessories (print on cardstock, laminate, and cut out; **Note: for barrier games, consider making 2 copies of accessories)
Pages 15-16: Lesson ideas and worksheet for spatial concepts
Pages 17-18: Lesson ideas and worksheet for antonyms/opposites
Pages 19-20: Lesson ideas and worksheet for pronouns and auxiliary verb use
Pages 21-22: Lesson ideas and worksheet for describing and using adjectives

I hope this is a helpful tool in your speech room!
