I began using foldables when I first started teaching. I didn’t know about lapbooks until I browed and found the concept on the internet. I merged the idea of lapbooking with fill in the blank foldables for all of my lapbook products. They can be challenging at first for students to grasp but it helps with so many skills – even those beyond the content!
This is a freebie meant to show you the quality of these lapbooks. If you are interested in purchasing a lapbook about the following topics please check out my listings.

This product is designed to be a supplement for the Florida Science Fusion book. This is aligned with the Florida Science Standards. This is not limited to students taught in the state of Florida. It can accompany any science unit. The foldables within this lapbook are meant to be taught in chunks after doing read alouds, using media sources, or using the student textbook. It is a compilation of knowledge that allows the teacher to review in an interactive way.
The foldables will adhere to a large piece of construction paper size 18x24. See the map on the following page to understand the layout of the foldables.
I typically do the lapbook throughout the duration of the unit. It is not uncommon for a lapbook project to last two weeks. Students take the book home at the end of the unit. I do not do all foldables at once. I try to pair foldables together that are a common theme. We build the lapbook as we move through the unit.
The images on this product are line art images. Who doesn’t love to color?
Some pages I tried to help you save paper. There may be two or four foldables per page. Please pay special attention to the foldables so you can save paper!
