Las Estaciones / Seasons
This is an activity that your students will have a lot of fun adding to their Interactive Notebooks. It can be used as a reference when talking about the different seasons in class.
There are two activities included in this set. They can be used together or individually, depending on your needs.
Use this activity to introduce or close out your lesson on the seasons. You can display the season cards and talk about which months belong in which season. You can also talk about the different activities that can people do during the different seasons. This is also an opportunity to pull out a map and talk about the seasons in the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere while also sharing that places close to the Equator don’t really have seasons (just dry and rainy periods), a common misconception. You can talk about how when it is summer in the United States, it is winter in Argentina.
