4- Writing Prompt- Students can take this page home, draw or use computer clip art to complete it. They need to draw the fruit and write the name in Spanish. They need to write four statements describing the fruit such " La manzana es roja" Have everyone in the class share. Keep tallies on the board and find out the most popular fruit in the class. Collect the fruits and create a fruit quilt for the class.
Play guess the fruit & review colors- Before you give the assignment play with the class a game of guess the fruit. Bring a couple of fruits and put them underneath a cover. Describe the fruit. You can use shapes and colors. Students use vocabulary sheet to guess the fruit. You can do it in small groups too.
TROPICAL FRUITS- Bring to class new fruits such as maracuya, lulo, papapa, so your students enjoy discovering new fruits.
