Eight different Mexican flags and how they have changed throughout the years. This presentation does not include every flag used throughout history. I used these images to group students for stations centered around Día de la bandera. First, I cut the flags into quarters. As students walked into class, they each got a different piece. Once students find 3 other students to make the flag whole, they sit down as a group. For this reason, I used a variety of flags that were similar but different enough as to not confuse students as they looked for the matching pieces. This product can be used in a variety of other ways as well; from classroom decor to a lesson on the history of the Mexican Flag.
