This bundle includes:
- a booklet
- a worksheet
- two sets of the same card game (one for one big group of students and another one for two smaller groups of students)
These are designed for the students to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing about professions and what they would like to be when they grow up.
Students will practice nouns (jobs, professions and work places) verbs (actions each person does in his job) and adjectives (what it takes to be good at a certain job). The booklet also helps introduce and practice several basic structures used to speak about one's job (I want to, I can / know how to / I work at / I am a / I must be etc)
The book should be printed in booklet format, using the print properties in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
The first exercise on the worksheet is a listening activity. For this activity, the teacher should read the booklet out loud to the students or s/he could also record her/himself reading the booklet out loud and play the recording for the students.
The worksheet also contains one double page, as one of the speaking activities should be done in pairs. Page 2 is for student A and page 3 is for student B and they each contain information that the other student does not have. The students should ask each other to complete their information.
As a follow-up, students could play the card game Las profesiones, a classic I Have Who Has Card Game, also sold separately.
The first (big) set can be played by a big group of 12 or more kids. The second set can be used with two smaller groups of 6 or more students each.
