Product Description
This is a ten slide Keynote presentation. It begins with a reminder of what a primary source is. It explains how the Lascaux caves were discovered and problems that surfaced when they opened to public viewings. There is a slide that poses an opinion question that the class can discuss. It shows clear photos of specific cave art pieces with informative captions about the species. It ends with an independent assignment that connects the content with the students themselves.
I designed this for use with my 6th grade Social Studies classes in our Hunter-Gatherer unit, but it could be used with upper elementary or early high school students.
