I have many students who have difficulty telling me (their SLP) or their teacher about the things they have done over the weekend.
Most of these students have limited language, difficulty with remembering past events, and/or have echolalia.
I keep these sheets in a quick reference binder by my table. When I see these students, I can ask them where they went, what they did, and who they saw.
The visuals give them a higher chance of success for correctly answering a wh- question (where, what, who) by giving them choices. Sometimes the pictures alone spark a memory that gives them something to talk about with me!
