This is a complete unit of interactive digital notes that can be used to teach about the geography, cultures, history, governments, and economies of Latin America. These notes are intended to be used in a digital notebook.
What is a digital notebook?
Original educational teaching and learning materials delivered by web based file sharing services. Digital notebooks operate in the internet 'cloud' (on services such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft OneDrive, or any other online learning management system) and allow you and your students to access, edit, and print files from any computer or device.
Benefits of using digital notebooks:
★Paperless. No printing. No cutting. No glue.
★Students work directly in the file
★Can be used on Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Microsoft OneNote
★Create for syncing with software like Schoology, Notability, Nearpod, Padlet, Evernote, SeeSaw, Canvas, Blackboard, Edmodo...and more!
★Integrate digital media (videos, photos, infographics, etc.)
★No more lost or disorganized notebooks!
★For use on Chromebooks, Androids, iPads, and other devices!
How do I use the notes?
Distribute the student copies of the notes. In these copies, key terms and phrases are removed from the file and replaced with highlights. Students will type the correct information in the highlighted areas. I project a copy of the student notes and fill in the highlighted areas for my students to copy as I guide them through the lesson. Completed versions of the notes are found in the “Completed Notes” folder included with this product. You may choose to provide the completed notes to students who were absent from class.
Many note pages also contain digital media elements such as videos, photos, links to other websites, etc. These media elements are not found on the completed note files.
In addition to this product description, you’ll find the following folders contained with this product:
• OneNote files – Inside this folder you will find the OneNote section that contains all the student-facing note pages of the unit. If you use OneNote (which is freely available on all Microsoft devices) as the software to host your digital notebook, simply open this file in OneNote.
• Word doc note pages – This folder contains all the unit note pages as editable Word documents. You can adapt or copy/paste this content as you see fit.
• Completed notes – In this folder you will find Word documents with completed versions of the student notes. These files do not contain extra elements found on the student versions of the note pages such as images, videos, video questions, etc. These files are intended for teacher use or to provide to students who may have been absent from class and need to fill in the highlighted areas in their student notes.
