This is a flow map created over Latin American History. There are three maps. One map starts with the Aztec and ends with Emiliano Zapata and the Zapatistas, another map starts with the Inca Empire and ends with Dictatorships becoming democracies during the 1990's. There is also a third map that details the Columbian Exchange and the effects of this worldwide exchange, which has shaped today's modern world. There are a few ways to use these maps, you could complete a larger size map as you study the history of the area and connect them as you study each region. It could also be used as a review. You could also remove some of the word and make it into a fill in the blank review or note-taking method during class. At any rate, it condenses the major ideas, people, places, and events and puts them in chronological order and seperates the two different regions so students can visually see the progression of events through time starting as early as the Aztec and Inca up to today.
