These placards are great for getting students involved in identifying objects found in the classroom. The basic set has words for the “big” things one sees everyday including fenestra, iānua, hōrologium, tapētum, as well as several different words for similar objects (sella and sēdēs). The placards are printed in full color on heavy card stock.
A teacher’s guide and suggested lesson plans are included. The guide and plans are printed in black and white on standard letter paper.
You can use these beginning immediately in a basic course. Then as the ability of students increases, you can keep using them, adding more complex grammar in advanced classes. The placards work great as ice-breakers, daily warm-ups, and props for skits.
