One of the most challenging aspects of adjectives in Latin can be encountered when beginning to learn 3rd declension adjectives. My students get stuck on how they don't have the same ending and are not in the same declension, but they can still describe words that look like they do not go together.
This selection includes 4 parsing activities for learners.
Students are given a noun. Then they must fill in the gender, number and case of the noun.
From there they are asked to determine the noun's GNC and make two adjectives - one 2-1-2, one third declension agree with it.
Therefore they will be creating a noun adjective pair with two adjectives and one given noun.
This activity is also featured in the full 3rd Declension Adjectives packet.
