Here is how I use these puzzles with my kids: On Monday, I give them the Vocab Sheet to study and put in their notebooks. Many of the words are familiar to them already, but there are usually a couple new words too. They also do the Word Scramble on Monday, which is an easy puzzle to work and helps give a visual (in the case of nouns, at least!) for the words. On each of the other days of the week, they complete another puzzle. They are free to refer back to their Vocab Sheet if they need to, but are encouraged to try their best without looking first. By the end of the week, they've had some fun practice and review of the vocabulary words and feel more confident with them! I don't grade puzzles, but always provide a sticker for a job well done! Note: We complete these puzzles in conjunction with our regular Latin program. They aren't meant to be a stand-alone curriculum.
I hope you find these puzzles useful for Latin vocabulary review too!
