Students will be learning the meanings of four prefixes; multi-, tele-, in-, and dis-. They can write the word-part meaning, words they know with the word part, and draw a quick picture to help them remember. Students can them create a pocket in which they can glue into their foldable. Inside that pocket fits the words strips with three words for each prefix. Students can generate definitions based on what they know about the prefix and base word meaning. After my class completed this foldable, many stated that "we just had the best day ever!"
