This activity has the students finding specific cities using interesting geographical facts. Students are given the latitude and longitude coordinates and they must identify the city. Students will need access to an atlas or an online equivalent of an atlas for this activity. An answer key is provided.
Section Four: Pirate’s Treasure Game
This fun and adventure filled game reinforces the concepts of latitude and longitude. Students draw latitude cards and longitude cards to find a location on a map.
