This United States latitude and longitude puzzle is my new Google Drive version of my best-selling paper copy of the same puzzle. This digital version allows your students to simply "drag-and-drop" the points on the grid, make a polyline to connect the dots, and voila! They should see the United States! This version allows students to go back and fix misplaced points easily and is an enjoyable way for your students to practice their latitude and longitude skills compared to just plotting a random set of coordinates on a grid. You won't be let down with this product! Who says students can't have fun while they're learning?!
Students will need internet access as well as access to Google Drive. You can simply share the puzzle with your students or if you are using Google Classroom you can add it that way as well.
This puzzle is a set of 85 coordinates that will eventually form the shape of the United States of America. This is a great challenge for students who already know latitude and longitude because it forces them to approximate in between the lines. For younger students who are just learning latitude and longitude this might be a bit too challenging, but one they can work their way up to!
