This is a great activity for students to practice graphing latitude and longitude coordinates. There are 4 graphing activities. Each graph contains coordinates solely in one quadrant: NE, NW, SE, and SW. Students can "create" new continents by plotting the points given. They will also add two landforms to each map.
I created this activity because my students consistently forget which line is latitude and which is longitude. This activity helps them practice those skills. I've labeled the prime meridian and equator as guides.
Students can complete this activity in partners or as homework. I've included completed maps as answer keys for easy grading.
