This packet includes 10 activity sheets with 3 digit by 3 digit multiplication problems and lattice grids to help solve the problems. The activity sheets can be used in the classroom to introduce lattice multiplication, as homework, or as practice once students understand the process. The lattice algorithm has really grown on me since I began teaching. At first I did not think it was a realistic way for students to multiply larger numbers, but now I prefer this method to traditional multiplication. The grid provides students with a framework so if they are struggling with fluency, they don't forget the process. My students are usually much more accurate when they use this method rather than the traditional algorithm.
I also have a Lattice Multiplication practice packet available. Lattice Multiplication Practice Packet
