PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a multiplication management system to help your students learn their multiplication facts through 12s by earning the pieces of an actual model rocket. As students pass through each level of multiplication, they earn a new piece of the rocket. Those pieces are added throughout the school year, and in the spring, an exciting rocket launch!

My husband and I developed this unit because we were wanting an idea for my third & fourth grade classroom that would engage my students through building something. It is a wonderful motivation, and so fun to see the student excitement! I have used it for 4 years, alternating because of my multi-grade classroom. If you would like to see pictures of the rockets in action, please check out my website: www.tinyurl.com/kramersroom.

There are math and science components to this unit:
Math - learning all multiplication tables
Science - 2-3 week unit to learn about model rockets

This unit includes all of the parts to manage learning the facts: teacher record sheets, all tests (four versions of each - the same tests that are in my Multiplication Timed Tests product), rocket pieces list that corresponds to tests, and much information about model rockets. There are also the pages to make a science student booklet for learning about model rockets.
